Suncurrent Industries offers services, products and consulting in the renewable energy sector, facilitating the installation of renewable energy technologies in countries such as Canada, Cuba and Jamaica.
Suncurrent has been active in commercial property development for 20 years, and began committing resources to the renewable energy sector in 1989. As a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) developer, Suncurrent is investing in research and development of wind-powered water pumpers, biogas, wind electric hybrid, photovoltaic and microhydro technology.

As a renewable resource Bio-energy is positioned to lead in economic viability with an 85% capacity factor. This provides for higher kW output than any other renewable technology. (ie: Solar 14%, wind 30%, hydro 50%.) The high availability of electricity output allows for predictable annual power sales.
The sale of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) offsets also plays a role in valuing the annual revenues from all renewable energy. The destruction of tonnes of methane biogas is twenty one times the value of tonnes of CO2, which benefits other renewables. |
